Great products!
This is actually the 2nd island opal I got from FinFun. Sadly my original one met with an accident and ended up with a hole (sucks because it wasn’t even me who had the accident with it. I had loaned it to someone). I’m a forgiving bloodthirsty siren from the depths so I let it slide and sewed up the hole the best I could, but it still made me sad when I looked at it. The island opal really is one of the prettiest tails I’ve seen around. The photos don’t do it justice as you can’t see the sparkle details. I was excited to see it available in my size in the 2nds grotto! After I received my new island opal, I compared it to the original. The print and everything is exactly the same. The only difference is it is missing the tail tip protection and the Velcro enclosures for the bottom of the tail. No biggie! I can add those myself! So I am finally happy again and no longer have to fight the urge to drag another mermaid to the deep 😜
I’ve wanted to purchase a swimmable tail from finfun since I was in 6th grade, and I finally decided to go for it when I saw the 50% off sale in the “seconds grotto”! The tail came neatly packaged and in perfect condition, I had to really squint in order to decipher what makes this tail a ‘factory second’. The tail is stunning and whatever misprints she may have just make her completely unique! The shimmer and pearls are absolutely gorgeous!! Even my cat likes it
This tail is absolutely GORGEOUS, the photos can't quite capture the incredible, intricate details and beautiful shimmer. The pearls really add a perfect touch.
