I got this as a replacement for my original Tidal Teal mermaid tail as it got a hole in it. It probably would have lasted longer but I wore it on the concrete splash pad too much. It got a hole after about a year. Have yet to swim in this one yet as it is winter. Very good quality though. Still have my original monofin that so far has lasted about 1.5 years without replacement. Rated the most safe tail for beginners. If you are not a confident swimmer start with just the monofin in the pool. If you need to take it off quickly in the water there is a quick release method.

The colors are amazing and this design allows for more agility in the water, compared to some of the more elaborate long betta fish tails if agility is what you're looking for.
My daughter loves this mermaid tail. The extra details this fin has makes it so fun and special. She swims like she was born in the water.
