I have recently purchased two tails from finfun after falling in love with the colourful patterns and unique flukes. I wish I could end the review there but unfortunately these didn't arrive as expected.
Where one tail was beginning to part a little at the seams, above the zip, the other tail had already torn in exactly the same place. After the amount I'd spent on these, I was disappointed to have already found a problem on opening the package. However, I knew this could easily be fixed so took a picture, sent it into customer services and put both tails back in their package to avoid the issue worsening.
I was shocked to recieve a reply suggesting that the tear must have been caused by my "agression" when removing the vinyl insert (something that is so simple to do), despite the fact I had stated in my initial email, that the issue was present on opening the package and that I had neither removed the insert nor worn the tail yet.
Their reply was backed up with a video tutorial on how to remove the insert and a reminder to "not get frustrated" in the process. I found this really belittling and completely dismissive of a problem with their product that I had done nothing but remove from the box it arrived in.
I was also offered a $20 refund towards getting it repaired locally, which I set out to do. I eventually requested the refund after the repairs where completed but have not received a reply from them for over two weeks, and have contacted them multiple times since.
The customer service has been appalling: patronising when replying, taking no accountability for a product that was imperfect on arrival and have now chosen to ignore me when I asked for the refund they offered for the repairs.
Because if this I will not be purchasing anything from here again.

It is amazing! This is my first Elite tail from funfin but for the past 5 years, since I was 10 I started buying from finfun. The tail itself is surprisingly lighter then I expected.

Omg this tail is so freaking worth it!!!!!! Beyond beautiful, not heavy in the water at all! Definitely able to get into a float if needed! Really nice and comfortable fabric!!!!!!! LOVE IT DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful tail. This is for professional or seasoned merfolk, the fabric is very heavy in the water. I had my Professional Mermaid Debut on the land with this tail. 🧜‍♀️
