I love my tail and the mono fin, but immediately ripped after only two uses! I didn’t even scratch it on the bottom. But it is comfy and sturdy, and goes fast. I am sad.
We have ordered this advanced Monofin Pro together with a Barracuda Black mermaid tail for our 10 years old son (size XS from adult range, considering his hight). It is absolutely perfect. Very well made, well balanced, great feet pockets (separating feet), with still a lot of space for growth. Fin sits very well in a tail pocket. Our son was using it with and without tail, and it is a pleasure to swim in it. We were ordering form Ireland, way ahead our Maltese holidays, worrying about delivery time - it exceeded our expectations - it took FinFun only 6 days (!) to deliver to us (ordered on the 4th of may, dispatched on the 6th of May and we received it on the 10th of May), absolutely amazing service. I also have to mention the exceptional customer service that FunFin provided, we needed an advise on sizing , as our son seemed to be between sizes provided on the website, and we were very lucky to have Brandy advising us and responding very promptly and in very professional manner to all our emails. Great product and lovely experience all together.
It works great! One thing to watch out for is that I'm A man, and that means men usually have bigger feet than women, and the sizing this goes up to is U.S 10.
I'm kinda between 9 1/2 and size 10, so it's a tad bit tight to slip on, but once I slip it on it is very blissful to me a Merman!
However, although I'm lucky to have smaller feet than like size 14, there's probably quite a few people who do not have smaller feet and there's not really a bigger sized Monofin unless that's the Elite? But I like the design of this Monofin better than the Elite, plus it's cheaper. But Fin fun is advertised as a "Mermaid Shop" instead of "Merfolk" / "Merman" so it seems like it's more directed towards women, I've heard that Finnis makes good Monofins if you're a man, but I guess I might not be able to teach many of by fellow male friends how to use it. (There's no Merfolk near me where I live) And so I guess I'll have to try to get some female friends to use it with, but then that might be awkward
