Fin is fantastic but having had one of the cheaper Fin fun fins for a while, was hoping that the ankle binding on the profin would be stronger. On the old fin it lasted barely a year and needed constant repair; am hoping it will last longer on this one.
I bought this for myslelf and it said it would fit my size but it did not I could not even get one foot in it and My 7 year old sister could not as well and that was on the Proa dult monofin and a child could not get her feet in it.
We're sorry that you didn't have a good experience with our Advanced Monofin. The cuff should be snug, but not so tight that you can't fit your foot in! If it is that tight, there is a good chance that the lock stitch used during manufacture never got broken, which is supposed to happen. Please contact us at customercare@finfun.com, so we can get a new monofin sent to you.
In the meantime, if you pull each cuff with both hands, you will feel a 'pop' and the cuff should loosen so that you can use it until you get a replacement.

I’ve had mine for a year and the footpockets have a bunch of excess threads coming off the seams, but that was there even when I purchased it. The fabric where the foot pockets are and where the heels are should be reinforced with the same rubber as the tips. Great job finfun, love this monofin!
Daughter loved the tail and the mono fin is a must. Sturdier than expected and well made. I would highly recommend.
