I don’t think there’s any way I could be happier with the whole experience I’ve had with Fin Fun - from being able to find a “goth” starter tail, the quick response from customer service to inquiries, all the way to the prompt shipping to Canada. The packaging was well done, and I found the printed interior of the box to be a pleasant surprise.
The tail itself is a ton of fun! I’ve been delighted to swim with it, and live out my childhood mermaid dreams. The pattern looks especially sleek underwater, and I look forward to many, many swims with it in the future.
It's amazing and durable but went a size down this time because the last one slid of during swimming can't wait to try out the new one in the summer
As you can see, I have now decided to go early with choice of Tailskin and by the middle of next month ! I shall be ordering this tail as my second tail of choice. The first choice was the Celtic tail and I will be ordering this shortly. Size choice will be Large for the both of them!
This was my first tailskin thought and no full decision as yet! Reason for why is because I have a lot of practice and passing of seven requirements for merperson swimming to deal with first. So I will be here back in - once having made some solid progress with these requirements. I simply need to get going on it.
The South Coast Mermaid group Anna - suggested that I should go for a tail as well! But having purchased the necessary monofin I have to start getting ready for the day when I swim with the full equipment in March or April 2025 - it could be slightly longer than that! The Barracuda tailskin is tempting. So for now. A holding off. I have to learn to use the monofin properly. And practicing with it and using some other bits as well to dolphin kick properly. Rest assured - I will crack that. For now this is the front runner of three. So four stars is
that!
Although tempted to get it now! There are two others that I like the look of! For right now. Other consideration must take priority.
Got this tail thinking crocodile to go to Australia last year, but ended up wearing it more as a viking mermaid in Norway!
Had to leave it home this summer to give other tails a chance!
I love the big scales, and that it doesn't show dirt like lighter colored tails do.
