This is my first Finfun Elite tail- the fabric is heavier than some brands but lighter than others- would be decently insulating in colder water. The fluke shape is beautiful and is on the draggy side- not built for speed.

The printing was extremely faithful to what I drew, the colors are super vibrant and there are no weird gaps or white spots. There is some pixelation on my lines but that was actually in my original drawing- so make sure you're drawing at ultra high resolution!

Production was super fast and shipping was too- I believe it arrived within 3 weeks of ordering.

This has maybe ruined me for premade tails, I've got so many ideas for my next!

Last June, I bought my first full-sized tail from FinFun a custom Elite Neptune that I colored with a pumpkinseed sunfish design. Needless to say, I love it; after three months of use, I’m incredibly happy with it. The shape and colors are stunning and vibrant. The fabric is thick and durable, stretchy enough to be comfortable, yet snug enough to give my legs a beautiful, fluid, and realistic look inside the tail. I definitely plan to buy more, but next time, being an illustrator, I’m going to have some fun and submit my own designs. 😊

This tail is incredibly easy to put on :) I loved that.

I would love the serenity tail to be added to the templates. I want to collect all the elite tails and im just missing the serenityyyy and i am a digital artist and love having creative freedom over the tail!!

2nd time ive done the DIY tail maker and ive never been dissapointed. This tail is absolutely gorgeous and the quality is amazing. I wanted a realistic h2o tail and it took me a few days to design it myself using their template and it printed out every detail and all the scales are fantastic and exactly as I designed. This DIY service is by far the most elite thing they offer.
side note:
every elite tail ive gotten is always pretty tight in the calf area, and as someone who has huge calf muscles it always stretches the fabric white, so when doing your design keep that in mind. I always try to make that area lighter by design so its not super obvious its stretching.
overall its really nothing that effects everyone, just something id offer to point out. I really love the Elite line of tails, theyre affordable and relatively durable.
