Fin Fun's mermaid tail warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for thirty days from the date of purchase. This period is designed to give customers ample time to inspect and use their mermaid tails. The warranty includes coverage for issues such as fabric tears not caused by misuse, problems with the tail's construction, and defects in the monofin that may occur under normal use conditions. In addition, Fin Fun will replace your tail if holes occur in the reinforced tail tips during the first year of ownership when caused by the normal use of your tail (see below for more details). Finally, the plastic insert that gives the monofin its structure has a lifetime warranty as it is practically indestructible.

What's Covered

  • Material and Workmanship: The warranty specifically covers defects related to the material of the tail and the craftsmanship involved in assembling the tail and monofin.
  • Monofin Integrity: Given that the monofin is an essential component for swimming, any manufacturing defects affecting its performance or durability are covered.
  • Construction Flaws: This includes issues like seams coming undone or the tail fraying at the edges, assuming the product was used under normal conditions.

What's Not Covered

  • Normal Wear and Tear: The warranty does not cover damage that results from regular use over time, such as color fading or fabric thinning.
  • Misuse or Abuse: Damage resulting from misuse, such as dragging the tail on rough surfaces or using it outside of water, is not covered.
  • Unauthorized Alterations: Any modifications made to the tail or monofin that affect the product's integrity void the warranty.
  • Use of Another Manufacturer’s Monofin: The warranty is voided if the tail is used with any monofin other than a Fin Fun monofin.

If you experience any holes or other damage to your Fin Fun mermaid tail tips within the first year of purchase, your mermaid tail is eligible for a one-time, FREE tail replacement in the same size/style at no charge. This guarantee applies to all Mermaidens, Limited Edition, and Atlantis swimmable mermaid tails that feature our innovative, reinforced tips. Additionally, using another company’s monofin in a Fin Fun tail can damage or destroy your mermaid tail in one use and voids our 1-Year Tail Tip Warranty.

*Warranty is for Mermaidens, Limited Edition, and Atlantis collection tails with new reinforced tail tips. Sparkle Tails and Fantasy Tails are excluded.
